Urinary tract infection won't go away?!?

Ok so I get utis frequently... My body rejects microbid & keflex (penicillin) so they've been prescribing me cipro for months now. 2 times a day for 3 days. Well, july 3rd i got my antibiotic still wasnt better after the 3 days.. so they prescribed it again after checking another urine sample i left. Same antibiotic for 3 days UGH well i have 2 pills left AND still not going away? Ive drank 8 glasses of water today already wich it's only 1pm here! I drink a glass of cranberry juice too and have been taking cranberry pills too! Also bought some azo for discomfort but can't take it anymore due to it's been 2 days already! Any suggestions? I was also wondering if there's other antibiotics for utis?? I think maybe I'm resistant? Please help!

Update:

I've seen a urologist about 6 months ago and everything was fine. Started drinking cranberry juice about two days ago.

Update 2:

Also, I all drink is bottled water & the cranberry juice. Maybe a soda every once in awhile or some chocolate milk.

Forget about the cranberry if it's not doing much. Try D Mannose instead, but if that doesn't work for you either then leave those alone. Drink filtered water instead.

You might also benefit from acidophilus for the urinary tract called Fem Dophilus. This has prevented my utis because it gets the balance of bacteria back in your system. Google fem dophilus for uti and see what comes up.

If none of this works you should see a urologist

you are probably antibiotic resistant..take lots of garlic tablets ..thats what I use when I need antibiotics..havent taken any in over 15 years.. just garlic tabs.. its worth a try.. and keep up with the water and juice.. and maybe a better doctor..did they do a culture on the infection? any lab work or blood work? or just prescribe meds? it they just rescribed meds with no testing, they dont even know what they are giving meds for..just guessing. Shame on them! go to a urologist, who specialises in diseases of the urinary tract... good luck...
