Evolution no substitute for Design?
‘We should reject, as a matter of principle, the substitution of intelligent design for the dialogue of chance and necessity; we must concede that there are presently no detailed Darwinian accounts of the evolution of any biochemical or cellular system, only a variety of wishful speculations.’
Franklin M. Harold,* 2001. The way of the cell: molecules, organisms and the order of life, Oxford University Press, New York, p. 205.

Evolution is a natural process of things with beneficial characteristics surviving and having more descendants. For instance, if a dog is born inside out, it is unlikely to survive for very long and have inside out babies. If a man suddenly learns how to read minds, the read-minds gene may well be passed down to his children and spread exponentially through the species.
If you were to consider the amount of descendants possible from one human being it is almost impossible. Lets say this special man has three children, all containing this particular new gene. They have three children with the gene buried inside them. Then again, and again and again. In just 10 generations you have nearly 20,000 people with this gift. they then procreate and continue and continue. Another 10 generations of the same and this man has now affected over 11 million people.
It is not about science or religion. It is a process of survival. Things cant have kids if they are dead, and the things in nature that die are the things that generally are not all that great.
