because christianity evolved from judaism. The old testament is what the jews believe in, and it is half of what Christians believe in. Plus jesus was a jew, so it would make sense that christians believe the the jews are the chosen people.

God chose the israelites over the people of the earth, they recieved the laws and God promised to Abraham a big people, the fact they don't accept jesus, it's not a problem because Jesus said the salvation comes from the jews, Jesus accepted the judaism and jewish but he was against the leaders, the new testament says the jews will acccept jesus as the messiahw when they see him on the sky.

The belief of Jews are different from Christians. However, not all christians from a certain church find the Jews the chosen people.

Because it says they were the chosen people in the Bible - the Jews also consider themselves the chosen people.

The Messiah and salvation were to come through the Jews.

    Jesus was a Jew.

The first followers of Christ were Jewish.

And yes, some Jews do accept Christ. It was prophesied they would reject Jesus, but that a remnant would remain - today we see a small remnant of Jews who accept Christ. Oftentimes they are referred to as Messianic Jews.

Jonathon Williams an American Founding Father wrote in 1781 these words, which were allegedly spoken by Lord Cornwallis (a Mason) To General Washington (also a Mason) at the signing of the surrender after Yorktown in 1781.

"Your churches will be used to teach the Jew's religion and in less than two hundred years the whole nation will be working for divine world government....

... All religions will be permeated with Judaism without even being noticed by the masses, and they will all be under the invisible all-seeing eye of the Grand Architect of Freemasonry."

So it seems as if Peter (above) is quite probably correct in his assumption.

you misunderstand the concept of "chosen people".

they are chosen to be an example and to carry an extra burden of Torah. Doing so makes them a target by the Gentiles as history has proven and continues to prove.

Thus, Jews would be very happy for G-d to choose someone esle for awhile. let them be the target

Because Moses said so. If the Eskimos had written the Bible, they could have said they were the chosen people. Chosen has nothing to do with a race of people. It is who God accepts as a disciple. Until you KNOW that God accepts you as a disciple, you do have a problem. Knowing the truth of it will set you free. You must find the truth. It is with us now but you can only wait until it finds you.

    This is the truth-

Gods Jews are not the physical Jews but the Spiritual Jews.

The Jews were Gods Chosen people, Chosen first to bring Gods plan of redemption into the world, and secondly to be a warning of what happens when a people reject God. Great for all mankind, not so great for the stiff necked Hebrews who continually strayed from the Covenant.

You are correct they do not accept Jesus and therefore according to the Biblical definition are antichrist and should recognized as such!

Your question indicates you have deranged "thought" processes.

No-one can possibly be a Christian without "accepting" Jesus.

As for the Jews ... God's written word tells us they are His people.
