XBOX 360 Slim External Hard Drive/Transferring Information?
Recently, our 1G 360 3RROD'd. Attempted the fix for it, but to no avail; too far gone.
So, we're looking at picking up a 2G 360 Slim 4GB. However, the hard drive space, 4GB, is definitely not enough. What is the maximum amount of external storage we can format to use as hard drive space for account information, saved games, and downloadable games with an external hard drive or a thumb drive?
Is it possible to transfer all the account information on the 1G 3RROD 360 to the new 4GB Slim 360 and how would we go about it?

You can use a USB, or Memory Card, I have an 8GB USB, but there are larger ones (16GB). Yes, you can just license transfer your content onto the new xbox (look up how). It's a free feature provided by xbox just for the occasion of buying a new xbox.

Gaylo :P? No longer certain what you imply about xbox live sport. But if your talking about installing video games reminiscent of Black ops and dangerous organization from the cd or buying them from market position and then into the flash power i would say Avrage 5-12gb round. So the flash power is ample for 1-2games three in case you lucky with old games.

Siempre he comprado en los sitios web hard disks de buena calidad, y siempre acabo llenándolas así que al final me he decidido compra un hard disk con una gran cantidad de almacenamiento, de una marca que ya conozco muy bien he encontrado un hard disk bastante grande a un precio sin rival, la compra ha valido la pena porque aunque es grande tiene una excelente velocidad de respuesta, una excelente compra.
