What can i use to propose to a girl other than a ring?

if your proposing you really are suppose to use a ring but if you cant do that then idk use a fake ring, drink soda or beer then take the nubby thing off about use that and promise a ring later

You DO NOT have to use a ring (nice job, I think rings are a stupid way of saying you're married, it's like showing off how much money the guy spent based on how big and how nice it is).

I would NOT get tattos of each others names (divorce does happen, things can change after marriage, it's always a possibility and who wants your ex hubby/wifey's name on your arm?).

You could use a necklace, maybe before proposing you should see what things she really likes (bracelets, necklaces). But find something that is special to both of you and get it for her! (at Kay Jewelers they have these braclets, their charm bracelets, you could spell out your name/initials and get a couple of charms for her).

This was a complicated question though :P I can't really think of anything else... oh! Maybe earrings? (Steal a few pairs of her earrings that she commonly wears. Make sure the earrings that you buy, if you do, don't weigh more than one pair of those. Heavy earrings are NO fun! But it's okay if they are the slightest bit heavier!)

But truthfully, you proposing at all should be enough, you don't need an object to prove you are married. The marriage should be strong enough where you don't need a ring to improve it!
