Speaking of 30' Crocs - Did anyone see that 1,000lb sturgeon caught in Canada?

There was a 1,000 lb plus sturgeon caught in Canada (yesterday I think). I saw the pictures and the news reported it was caught on a rod & real. I wonder what will become of it? Is it catch & release? Will it go to science? Stuffed and put on the wall? Does anyone know for sure what will or has become of it? The news didn't say.

    I did see the article, they said it was released. Third to last paragraph explains it.

    In the last few weeks in the northeast a 17 lb and 22 lb lobster have been caught. The 17 lb was purchased and has been released into LI Sound and the big guy was donated to an aquarium.

    Haven't heard anything more so far. I think I'll mark my chart "Here there be Monsters." Come to think of it, maybe I ought to look up what those things eat.
