Past Friend's Engraved Brick Memorial?

Our high school just had a dear girl pass away. She loved life and lived to the fullest she every day. No one every saw her without her beaming smile. She just passed yesterday and now the drama club family would like to memorialize her in a way that is in best remembrance of her. My idea was to have all chip in to have an engraved brick with maybe a quote she loved, her name, etc. placed in the front of the stage we use for our plays (Our school stage). It's pure brick all the way up until it actually hits the stage so I thought we could take one out and replace it. Any suggestions on where we could find these resources available to us? Websites? And is this a good idea? Her life was the stage, that's why we are in love with this tribute. It seems extremely fitting to have her enshrined forever in our stage, along with our hearts. Opinions?
