Does anyone remember a 1980s PBS kids' show about a talking record player ?

I remember a show on PBS that I watched in school in the late 80s hosted by a woman and an antique record player with the megaphone attached to it that could talk. It taught kids about music and singing.

Does anyone remember the name of the show ?

I know the show. It was called "Music Box", and look here:

    I liked this show, too.

Source(s): "Music Box was a series developed by Heather Conkie for TVOntario to guide young viewers through the world of music from medieval to Baroque to romantic to pop. The 15-minute programs featured a magical musical friend who could talk, sing, and make things appear and disappear at the drop of a B flat. The program was scheduled at 10:45 a.m. and repeated at 2:00 p.m. for school use. The educational content introduced children to such musical concepts as tone, color, tempo, meter and melody. Musical guests, familiar songs, and musical instruments were presented facilitating comprehension of many dimensions of music." FROM: http://www.tvarchive.ca/database/19239/music_box/d...
