Scion tC used car value?

I'm getting a new car soon, and I'm probably going to sell my 2007 Scion tC instead of trading it in. I'm trying to figure out what to sell it for, and that's what's confusing me, because the prices I'm seeing are all over the place.

- The dealer offered me $4800 as a trade in (I know that will be a lot less than I can sell it for).

- Edmunds.com said to sell it for $7500.

- KBB.com said to sell it for $8400 to $10400 depending on condition and options.

- Local ads for the same model, similar year and/or mileage are $10000 and up (used car dealers).

So what price should I advertise it for? And what should I reasonably be able to expect to get for it?

Car details:

Make & model: Scion tC base.

Year: 2007

Miles: 90,000

Options: Automatic, side air bags

Upgrades I added later: heated seats, bluetooth+iPod stereo, custom (non-factory) wheels.

Condition: Very clean, one owner. Was in a fender-bender at about 20mph that required repairs to the bumper, grill, headlights, hood.

Ask $8500. You almost have to sell it for the private party good condition on KBB. So many people look the price up on KBB before buying that if your not on the lower end of the KBB spectrum of prices, then they probably wont even call ya. Ask $8500 and you could go down a little bit if need be. GLWS!

The scion tC is a roomy motor vehicle, being that i'm 5'9'' I had no issue yet you're fairly tall. The ceiling in the motor vehicle is slightly low, and becuase of the moonroof you're able to actual be uncomfortable thinking the way its made (its extremely near to my head so it might actual hit yours) as far as right away, no longer something went incorrect with the motor vehicle it ran large for an extremely long term, yet after approximately 5-6 months of possession i had to get new harm pads (it fairly is a nicely commonplace certainty that the way tC's brake is horrifying) and that i replaced into informed via many mechanics that they are no longer toyotas, they gained't be lasting autos and run perpetually like camrys or corrollas. gas mileage additionally varies for the duration of the on a regular basis holiday. additionally, something that would desire to be stressful, while on the line going speeds above fifty 5 mph, you will pay attention a slightly loud whisteling sound. ALL tC's try this in accordance to my study as quickly as I first offered the motor vehicle, so in case you would be unable to stay with that or if the one hundred sixty watt inventory stereo isn't loud sufficient, it fairly is a issue. i offered the constrained version scion launch sequence 3.0 tc, and while i ultimately offered it back i've got been given sixteen grand for it while it fee me 23. base line: the motor vehicle has extra helpful acceleration than my previous v6 mustang (which had 40 extra horsepower) so sporty is what you will definantly get. The sunroof may well be a issue. The tC isn't envisioned to final as long or be as good as a camry or a corrolla. The whirring bee sound on the line is stressful. Brakes/ brake device is slightly frightening until you study to compensate. the fee of the motor vehicle depreciates rapidly! in case you purchase it from scion there will be no haggling, good or undesirable reckoning on you... there has been remembers on some issues with all scions, definantly inspect the scion message boards for extra recommendations!
