Would this be someone that would be considered gullible?

If consistently being asked to meet up over a couple years and plans cancelled by the requester. Yet individual insists that they love you, sex talk pictures, the whole sha-bam. Back and forth, we're just friends and then an about face, we are more. Then informs this confused person on the other end, that they are meeting up with someone else, although, they have admitted to wanting more with the new meet-up. Stupid to warn them? Then, hit with accusations for doing so. hmmm...

Update:

Yup, thought so.
