It depends on the type of sheep you get. You should feed a good quality grass hay, provide fresh water at all times, and beware of the fact that sheep have a copper allergy, so keep your horse minerals up where the lamb can not reach it, and buy it copper-free minerals. Wool sheep most definatly have to be sheared once a year, usually when it starts to get hot out. Meat sheep can go a couple of years. If you do not shear them every year, they can get grass seeds stuck under their wool and it will cause irritations to the skin. They need to be de-loused and wormed. It needs a once-a-year vaccination, course that depends on where you live. Here it is once a year, other states have different diseases, so require additional vaccines. Their hooves should be trimmed every couple of months, so make sure you train them to pick up their feet, same as you would train your horse. When they are young, buy them lamb grower. It comes with a coccidyosis prevention already in it. You should also get them a coccidyosis vaccine when you first get them. They don't need grain as they get older, but if you want to feed it to them, buy them sheep feed. It is better then the sweet feed. Get a female lamb or a neutered male (called a wether). Rams can be hard to handle as they get older. They get very pushy. And they like to pee on their face, which is really gross. I think that is all I can think of. Just research the different types. And when you go to get your lamb, look for ones that have been bottle-raised if you can. They tend to be alot tamer. Have fun!!

You have been provided a lot of great info on taking care of the sheep by "?"
The only thing I would add is that sheep tend to be very social animals. You would really be better off getting two, so they have a buddy with them at all times. They can also be susceptible to predators depending on where you are located.
Good luck!
