Is there anything quintessentially American that has become incredibly popular in Great Britain?
Great Britain gave us the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, One Direction (ugh!), the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and of course not to mention the English language. Many other things, too. What American cultural, literature, actors, and other things are popular in G.B.?

It's a give and take, really. The Brits took and ran with R& B 1st, while we were still watering it down with Elvis and Pat Boone. I guess Elvis is another American thing. Hollywood. We love each other's films.
We do Renaissance and SCA medieval reenactments here, they much prefer to reenact our old west and frontier days.
I was amazed when there a few years ago, to see so many RVs on the road. Also pubs that show american football/baseball....quite a following there. Also, being a person born and whole life in coastal Orange Co. Calif., I was stunned to see so many surfers, and surfboards on tops of cars.
Many many similars, lots of differences....it's all good....

The Supremes, The Beach Boys, The Four Seasons, N'Sync (ugh!), Star Trek, Star Wars, Little House on the Prairie, Friends, The Simpsons, and many other things too. Virtually every actor that comes from the US is popular in the UK. (And amusingly, a lot of Canadians that people in the UK THINK are American.) Oddly, too, a lof of people from the UK are more popular in North America than in the UK.

I can tell you that workers earlier than the industrial revolution drank tea out of very poor great china cups they usually determined that if you put some milk in the cup then it would not crack. Poland had wooden cups and hence failed to need to put milk within the cup, from this we are able to feel that Polish folks drink black tea. I'm definite that there's a excellent article on Wikipedia about tea.
