Two types of Bolo knife The M1909 & M1910. The M1909 has a 14" blade, Walnut handle. Made by Springfield Armory from 1909 to 1915. The M1910 has a 101/2" blade and stamped SA for Springfield Armory. Made 1910 thru 1917. Some 58,000 were made by Plumb & American Cutlery late in the war.

If it has a knuckleduster handle it would be a US Mk1 Trench Knife. It should have US1918 Engraved on the handle.
