Why is Hunter Hayes played on country radio?

Anyone wonder why this kid ,that sounds like he taking a poo when he sings, is played on country radio?

That song " Wanted" is so sappy makes me wanna puke.

It seems country radio must be paid off to play some of this teen idol crap.

I also believe that country radio, being the most listened to stations in the US, will play anything to keep people listening even if it means going outside it's genre

Update:

rascal flatts is more pop than country. George Strait is country. Gary Allan is country. Eric Church....country..... Justin Moore .. country...Miranda Lambert...country...compare these to Hunter Hayes like comparing day to night

I think he sounds more country than pop, kinda like Rascal Flatts. You're not going to like every song you hear on the radio, but a lot of people like his music.
