Why did the media make a bigger deal out Colorado Shooting comparing to Sikh temple shooting?
2012 Aurora shooting: on July 20, 2012, a mass shooting occurred at a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, during a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. A gunman, dressed in tactical clothing, set off tear gas grenades and shot into the audience with multiple firearms, killing 12 people and injuring 58 others. The sole suspect is James Eagan Holmes, who was arrested outside the cinema minutes later.
2012 Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting: On August 5, 2012, a mass shooting took place at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, with a single gunman killing six people and wounding four others.[3][4] The gunman, Wade Michael Page, a known white supremacist, shot eight people at the temple, then shot a responding police officer. After being shot in the stomach by another police officer, Page fatally shot himself in the head.
My question is why did the media make a bigger deal out Colorado Shooting comparing to Sikh temple shooting?
((((((( Is it because the victims of the Colorado have pale skin? ))))))

Its because James Holmes entrance was more entertaining. He went in with pizazz and style, he thought outside the box, going into a movie theatre dressed as a movie villain was fashion genius, and the media loves a good fashion story. As for the sikh temple shooting we still have no idea what Wade Page was wearing, it was just that forgettable.

The Colorado shooting is way more interesting, the entire situation was unexpected while a white supremacist killing non-whites isn't exactly surprising.

Certain media organisations were waiting to see if they could do a Zimmermann on the shooter, and had to wait while they tried to dig up dirt on the Sikhs.
