What is the cable called that converts your TV?

a friend of mine has a cable ready TV as he calls it. He has the place for the cable wire to go but not the 3 plug spaces for the white, yellow and red plugs to attach a DVD player say. I need to know what the cable that will allow him to convert his cable plug into the kind he needs is called so I can try and find one.

This is probably an older non-digital TV. If so he needs an RF modulator. This is a box that takes the yellow/red/white video and audio as inputs, and outputs a signal to the cable on analog (old, not digital) channel 3 or 4.

Here's one that's pretty cheap and gets good reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Audiovox-Corporation-CRF907-...
