Players like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and John Stockton all were still in their primes well into their 30's, which is when most players tend to decline.

BQ: Jamaal Magloire. He had one all-star season where he averaged 11 points a game, and he's been a bench warmer ever since.

I think MJ or Kareem had the longest prime

BQ- Gilbert Arenas- he was a superstar for like what 2 and a half years before injuries and he still has the ability if he would just push himself. He is afraid to try what he used to do even though he is still only 30

Vince Carter just got lazy after the Nets stopped being contenders and then gave up when he got traded. His laziness eventually led to him losing athleticism and quickness at a younger age. Also being diagnosed with jumpers knee when he was young really held back his career because he had to become more of a shooter and lost his scoring ability.

Michael Jordan his prime started in his Rookie Year and it ended at the age of 35 winning his last Championship with the Bulls.

When he was with the Wizards his still effective averaging 20.+ per game at the age of 39.

    Shortest Prime: Gilbert Arenas

longest prime: Allen Iverson. he averaged 30 most of his career

Shortest I would say Brandon Roy but hes coming back :)

  • Kareem. Guy won Finals MVPs 14 seasons apart, then followed it up by averaging 23 points a game at age 39.

Michael Jordan. From the time he entered in '84 up to 1998.

    Hope this helps.
