Nexplanon implant causing itchy arm?

I've had the nexplanon implant for 4 months now, I've been fine on it but my arm is really itchy where the implant is. Has anyone else experienced this & is it normal?

    I just got my implant and its been itching like crazy since insertion! you're not the only one so maybe it's "normal". I just thought maybe the healing caused the itchiness but four months is a long time. maybe it's time for you to see a doctor?

    I paintings at a gyn place of work. we don't recomend implants. the ultimate direction to pass is bcp or depo shot. The implants could reason infections and strange bleeding. i could get it bumped off and attempt a bcp like Lo-estrin Fe...stable luck
