NBA: How many finals appearances do the Lakers have? How many do the Celtics have?

The Lakers did not really match up well with the Celtics back then, but since the 80's, the Lakers have dominated the Celtics in terms of winning more championships.

This proves that the Lakers are getting better while the Celtics are getting worse. It also proves that the Lakers are the consistently better team because they have made it to the finals more times than the Celtics.
