The marginal benefit of an activity is...?

1 the benefit from a one-unit increase in the activity.

2 the benefit of a small, unimportant activity.

3 measured by what the person is willing to give up to get one additional unit of the activity.

Is it

a. 1 only?

c. 3 only?

d 1 & 3?

e 2 & 3?

    if its a standard modern textbook, its probably measured in utils of satisfaction, and could encompass more than satisfaction, even pointing towards profits, but the benefit itself is definitely good or bad and perceived as good and could be bad or bad and could be good so the only one who can truly measure it is God.
