Do California State Universities look at other things than high school GPA?

I am not sure how it is now but about 2 years ago when I was still in high school, they basically looked at GPA and SAT scores. They had no care for extracurricular activities and whatnot, that is reserved for UC's. So if you are looking to get into State, then focus on the two things I have mentioned. One thing I could tell you is that at state you are able to get to know your professors and fellow students, rather than at a UC which they often see you as just another number. Hope this helps :)
