Stickers from Liscense Plates?

I put the new sticker for my liscense plate in the wrong spot and can't get it off.

How do I get it unstuck?

    Get a new one from the DMV for around $15.00. The stuck sticker will even tear off for safety reason to protect from thieves.

    For your info. It is illegal to apply any stickers to "licence plates" in the UK.

    Every registration tag I've ever seen comes with instructions on where it is to be placed on the license plate.
