Why is neither candidate telling me why I should vote for him?

Obama keeps telling me why I should not vote for Romney, when I already know why I shouldn't vote for him.

Romney keeps telling me why I should not vote for Obama, when I already know why I shouldn't vote for him.

When is either of them going to tell me why I should for for them?

Update:

Most of you are missing the point. But, that is okay. This is Yahoo after all.

It's called politics. Sad, but true.

Not sure what you're watching. I'm not in a swing state; I live in MA, where an Obama vote is all but guaranteed. All I see here are attack ads from the pro-Romney super-pacs. Nary an Obama ad at all.

Go to either of their websites. They both have general plans outlined on various issues, although they are extraordinarily vague.

That being said, NEVER EVER EVER take what one of the candidate's websites says about the other candidate as truth. It's almost always a huge misrepresentation or distortion.

The film 2016 is a piece of right wing state propaganda garbage.

And here's an idea - actually listen to the candidates each give their convention speech. Get the wax out of your ears and actually listen. Also you can read their documented platforms.

Dr.Swag is right.. It`s called politics: the art of dancing entirely around a subject without ever actually discussing it.

Gary Johnson tells you why you shouldn't vote for Romney or Obama, AND why you should vote for him.

and i have to say, he makes quite the argument.

Go see the movie "2016 Obama's America" if you have the price of a ticket. Maybe that will explain why you should vote straight Republican this year. Or maybe you are so rich that it doesn't matter who is elected???

They are telling me. When they say "we need this or that", it's them saying that's what they plan to work on. I.e., "we need to lower the unemployment rate", translates to "I" will try to lower it if elected.
