Is a new director going to continue the Batman movies?

The end of Dark Knight Rises left the door open for more movies with Blake standing in the bat cave.

    I wouldn't. I would make sure it ended there where it was intended to.

    That ending was not meant to be open for more sequels; it was just meant to say that in that universe, the legacy of 'The Batman' will live on. The end.

    It was hinted a new Batman will be produced that will have the same continuity as Man of Steel for a Justice League movie.

    There is no news regarding a sequel to TDKR or a Batman re-boot. Only time will tell.

    Continue them? Not likely. REBOOT THEM? Probably. In other words expect it to be Bruce Wayne back in the cowl in the next movie.
