Treats for pet Geese?

I will take a while, don't try and feed them by hand yet they wil not take it. I've got geese that we raised from eggs and they have never been friendly. The original geese have since hatched quite a few clutches of eggs and none have even been friendly. Is not in their nature they are meant to be aggressive, thats why we got ours, for gaurd geese. And we havnt been broken into once! They will follow you when it's feed time, but thats it. You wouldn't want to be cuddling a fully grown goose at all....it's wings can brake a mans arm, it's beak coud easily brake the skin and cause serious bruising. They will be aggressive and they don't want to be friendly, they don't want to be cuddled..especially if you have a gander. Ducks would have been easier if you want something that is easy to handle. Don't think people realise how difficult/aggressive adult geese are! They will love Anything green, save all your left over vegetable cutting, broccoli stalks and everything put it in a big pan and cook it until soft, then feed that to them. The are still very young yet and at two weeks old should still be under a lamp. for the minute feed them chick crumbs mixed with a little water and try them with the veg.

If you give a goose a grape it will swallow it whole and it comes out the other end about a minute later none the worse.
