What criteria does CBS use for this?

The following is a quote from a page on CBS news (the link is at the bottom of the question - unless CBS changes it):

"The iPhone 5 will be available in stores on Sept. 21 in nice countries, including the U.S, Canada, U.K. France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Additional countries will see the iPhone 5 on Sept. 28. "

Even though I tend to agree, on what do they base their label of certain countries as "nice"? LOL

Update:

Before anyone says so, yes, I know they meant "nine" but I thought it was kind of humorous.

    It's a typo. They meant nine countries.....of course. It is indeed humorous though.
