My 1998 Nissan Maxima has codes P0325, P0440, P1448, and P0325(again). What are they and what are some solutions?

YOU ahve a few troubles. Your APOR VALVE is acting up and shoudl jus be replaced. IT allows FUEL vapors to get burned up as the omputer ditates. POWER WASH YOUR ENGINE first to remove all traces of oils and road filth. CLean engines ALWAYS work their best. Get a SECOND scan of your OBDI and buy a new VAPOR VALVE. ALSo you are getting some engine KNOCK because one display shows a knock sensor is acting up. This may NOT be a bad snesor, but that yoru engine reuqires a FULL TUNE-UP to get things back to normal. Take $20 to the local quicky lube and have them clean yoru THROTTLE BODY and your IDLE AIR CONTROL valve to showroom clean> these are the FIRST basics to do. Everything else will fall into place. The IAC valve fine tunes the AIR portion of your injection system and wil CAUSE unwanted knock and other troubles. especially if you have NOT been using the proper SYNTHETIC engineE will ruin those engines with time. GEt a FULL Motor flush and switch over to MOBIL ONE synthetic oil 0W-30 rating. this wilL CLEAN out your engine as you drive, and PROTECT your VERY expensive CAM PHASERS and hydraulic lifters from harm. I had a MAXIMA blow up on me at 233k miles because the oil feed to the $600 CAM ADJUSTER get clogged up. THese are RACE engines adapted for STREET use, and require SPECIAL engine oils to work right. NEVER get the cheaper OIL CHANGE SPECIAL bargains. VALVOLINE can ruin these engines too. ONly use oil that has the NISSAN specifcation numbers printed on the LABELS. I learned the HARD way about this! POOR fuel mix will upset your knock sensor, so keep that IAC valve PERFECTLY CLEANED UP! GOOD LUCK!

P0325 is knock sensor circuit malfunction. P0440 is an evaporative system malfunction. P1448 is a Nissan specific code, EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (Open)
The P0440 and P1448 codes are likely related. The knock sensor code is an additional problem. However, since the code is for the circuit, I would start by checking the wiring harness going to this sensor.
