I have a Sanyo DP19657B tv and it has a usb slot that says "service" on it?

If I was to plug a normal flash drive into this slot, will I hurt the tv in some way or can I view the files on the flash drive

    It will not do anything good but it may cause you problem so I suggest you to ignore the USB port. It is meant for Sanyo servicemen.

    it is not a usb for MEDIA.....it is for updating tv software .
