Why celebrities should be good role models?
hi :), im doing a persuasive essay and my topic is why celebrities should be good role models. I have brainstormed 3 ideas so far, but i have not enough details to fill up each one. Here's what i got
1.Children look up to them
2.They would look better toward the public
3.They would gain more respect from the public
Could you fil up these categories?

They shouldn't have to be. Their day job is on tv and they should be able to do whatever they want after that (minus function, benefits or anything geared towards job related activities). I know when I get home from work the LAST thing I would want to do is have to act like I was on the job all the time!

First, you'd be better off telling why we should NOT expect celebrities to be role models.
Second, if you're committed to this topic (and this arrangement of things), your second idea (the "look better" one) is very vague.
If I were you, and if I were writing about this, my entire essay would be about #2. In other words, your #2 would be your THESIS, and then you'd need to identify three ways in which they would "look better toward the public."
I know this is getting to be a long answer...sorry.
1. You need to just write 200 words telling WHY kids look up to them.
2. Write 200 words about WHY the public respect them.
Then you'd need another "big" idea. Lemme think...
How about 200 words about the fact that celebrities get a lot of exposure in the media (TV, internet, whatever).
Then send me (or someone smart) what you have and we can go from there.
