Mike Trout or Miguel Cabrera for A.L. MVP?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

BQ: Who do you like for N.L. MVP?

My two cents: Miguel Cabrera and Buster Posey.

    Cabrera and Posey.

Whether or not Cabrera wins the Triple Crown I think he should win it.Trout has been more valuable to the Angels with his speed and great fielding, but the MVP doesn't go to non-playoff teams. Just look at last year with Kemp and Braun.

For the NL, Buster Posey. I can't see any other player winning it. McCutchen was the clear cut favorite when he was batting .360+, but he's cooled off and the Pirates will have their 20th consecutive losing season.Molina is a strong choice, but his numbers aren't as good as Posey's. You also have Ryan Braun who has better stats than Posey. The thing is the Brewers are out of the playoffs. If Kemp didn't win it because the Dodgers failed to make the playoffs last year, then Braun will not win it this year.

I think you have it right, Miguel Cabrera and Buster Posey. Cabrera is a triple crown threat and he is on a winning team (not also to mention he is clutch and just hit a 2 RBI single with the bases loaded). Posey is on a team where if he is not there they don't win like they are. Just a talent and their MVP and most likely NLMVP.

I say Miggy for the A.L. and I think McCutchen or posey for the N.L. maybe Braun

  • I think Cabrera, the guy may win the triple crown. I can not see a scenario where he wins the triple crown and does not win the MVP

Tough choice....I'd throw Adrian Beltre in that mix too
