How was the mistake made of a little girl getting into a grey van and now it is said to be a blue 4x4?

I must have missed this part in the April Jones disappearance. Does the man in question own both? What age was the person that said it was a grey van? Any links will be appreciated. I hope the little girl is returned to her parents.

Guess until more info is released about this case we can carry on speculating.

Could be that Bridger owns both vehicles. Maybe.

I too hope April will be found safe & well but as each day passes it's looking more unlikely.

When will people ever get to grips with the notion that not all which is published by the media is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In its attempt to report the facts and also to try to help the media report (maybe mistakenly) that the child got into a grey van. Suddenly this is the only version of events which some of the public will accept. And this, bearing in mind that the first reports were made by other small children.....

    Oh it is exasperating.......

Any vehicles legally owned by Bridger would be on the DVLA database. Something which the police have presumably already checked. If a van was used it was most probably stolen and now hidden or destroyed.

Disclaimer: I am not saying Bridger is guilty, certainly not. Merely answering the question at hand.

I asked a similar question a few days ago - http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am... - I still find it puzzling, but no doubt all will be revealed in time.

That's how English 'Trial by Media' works.
