How come Democrats don't have a clue when it comes to how much people actually pay in income taxes?
I saw another Obama ad that was nothing more then a lie by the moderator at 60 minutes. I know my wife and I make a lot more then the 50K example the moderator used as an example of people who pay a higher income tax then Mitt Romney. Using just standard deductions on my combined income, I am only paying 10% actual in income tax. Even Politifact had to cook the numbers to get the upper middle class to pay more then 14%.

Many are just raging envious that some people have a lot more than they do. "It's not fair! I should have that much too!" (kick, scream, beat head on floor). Truth is of no interest to them. They believe what confirms their bigotry. See my "Source" for where they get it.
Source(s): For decades I studied philosophies, cultures, and social institutions. I began that because of confusion resulting from my military experience under the shadow of neo-Marxist anti-military and anti-capitalism indoctrination in the universities. I continue a forty year quest wading through the huge pile of stinking crap a wide variety of bigots piled on top of truth hiding it from nearly everyone's view. The pile was made by blaming people they don't like while excusing people they do like regardless of where the fault really lies. - BflowingLv 79 years ago
Its probably based on a single person. A person making 60k, with no dependents and only the standard deduction, will pay $8900 in tax, nearly 15% of gross income.
If you double that for a joint return, no other dependents, the tax is $17.8k on 120k, or nearly 15%.
$120,000 would be considered upper middle class.

I guess it must be because none of the millions of Democrats in this country pay income taxes. So they must be part of the 47% who "refuse to take personal responsibility for their lives." Think about what you are saying before you type it.
