Hallowe'en is a pagan party. It for this reason has no place interior the calendar of any believer. To a Christian it rather is the eve of All Saints' Day (November 1st), that's the place it gets its call. As JWs are actually not popular for their observance of Saints' Days, it is not an afternoon which they commemorate. it rather is unusual that those styles of pagans use the eve of a Christian dinner celebration to make merry devoid of even changing its call! long stay the dinner celebration of All Hallows!

HALLOWEEN IS FAR FROM HOLY
Known for its witches, goblins, and other grotesque decorations and paraphernalia, Halloween—also called All Hallows’ Eve or the eve of All Saints’ Day—can be traced back to the ancient Celts of Britain and Ireland. On the full moon nearest November 1, they celebrated the festival of Samhain, meaning “Summer’s End.” They believed that during Samhain, the veil between the human and the supernatural worlds was parted and that spirits, both good and evil, roamed the earth.
The souls of the dead were thought to return to their homes, and families would put out food and drink for their ghostly visitors in hopes of appeasing them. Thus, when children today, dressed as ghosts or witches, go from house to house threatening a mischievous trick unless they receive a treat, they unwittingly perpetuate the rituals of Samhain. The next most “holy” days on the Satanists’ calendar are Walpurgis Night and Halloween. Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines the former as “the eve of May Day on which witches are held to ride to an appointed rendezvous.”
(1 cor. 10:31)
"Therefore, whether YOU are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God’s glory."
(colosians 3:17)
"And whatever it is that YOU do in word or in work, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him."
This in no way praises God, and in no way follows the example of Jesus christ our model. God's word directs us:

What does goolish, demons, devils and zombiess have to do with Jehovah or his Son Jesus Christ? I think it is obvious why. Just look up the origins on any search engine. And, our loved ones are in the grave "awaiting" a resurrection, not haunting people like churches will tell you.
The apostle Paul expressed his confident hope when he said: “I believe all the things set forth in the Law and written in the Prophets; and I have hope toward God, which hope these men themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”—Acts 24:14, 15.

You will find so called christians celebrating this event too. Me I show no lights or answer the door. Being evil for one night of the year is not fun but anti-christian

Because deep down inside they are sick and tired of going door to door, It is NOT supposed to be fun and Halloween is fun so they do not do it.
Please when you have a Witness child at your door give them a piece of candy so the door to door experience is not so horrible
ex Witness avid trick or treater
