How to change sender's name in Gmail accout?

Our company has a Gmail account. (say ABCD@gamail.com)

When I registered it, I had put name as SK Kundu

When ever we are sending mail it reaches the receiver with Sender as SK Kundu

Now we want to edit it so that the mails reaches them as a mail from ABCD.

I have tried to edit the profile but its not happening. Can any one help me please ,,,,

    You have to go to e-mail settings, "Accounts and Import" and selecting the "add another e-mail address..." in the "Send Mail As" section. In there you can add POP accounts or even other web-mail accounts. These accounts will be shown in the From field when composing a message.

    click on the cog wheel icon to the top right

    >>settings >> Accounts & imports >>Send email as >>Edit info

    In the window which opens, change the name and press OK That's it

    You cant change your id but you can add any additional id in it.
