Caberg visor: bubbles inside the plastic?

Have a 2004 Caberg Justissimo helmet, still in service, needing a new visor. No scratches, but my current and previous clear visors seem to have ‘self-destructed’—there are numerous tiny bubbles INSIDE the plastic in the viewing area. I am thinking the UV in sunlight might be degrading the plastic. Have you seen this before? Is there just something wrong with Caberg’s visor manufacture? Is it planned obsolescence? I am wondering if it is worth it to replace this visor with another which will have the same issue

Never heard of that problem, so you may want to contact the manufacturer for advice. Only thing I can think of that would cause any problem such as that would be your cleaning technique, are you using some solvent or bleach?!?
