Is a slipping catheter dangerous?
My husband had surgery for a ruptured bladder one week ago. He has a catheter in and noticed it slipped out about 3 inches. He said he can feel it's still in there a lot. Is that something he should see a doctor about? Or is that normal after time?

A catheter shouldn't slip out. Give it a LIGHT tug. If it comes out he needs to go to the doctor and get a new one put in. If it stays put it's OK. DO NOT PULL HARD.
