"Remember, happiness doesn't depend on who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think."

This quote is from Dale Carnegie. Please explain it further. Does it mean that you are what you think? Isn't it a bit delusional? Thanks.

it means that happiness is not from who you are, or what things you have(things you have are temporary happiness). Happiness is a state of mind. If you see a day with happiness, then you are happy. If on a day, from your perspective, your point of view, you just dont see and feel happiness, then you are not happy. It's hard to explain, really.
