The US Constitution does provide term limits in the form of required election periods. It is voter apathy and ignorance that allows corrupt politicians to remain in office for life. The Founding Fathers never envisioned making a career out of politics. It was looked on as a civic duty rather than a free ride and place at the public trough. We as a country deserve what we get if we continue to elect the greedy, arrogant incumbents we now have in Congress.

    Think about it a second.

The only way there will be congressional term limits is if congress passes a bill to shoot themselves in the foot. Not going to happen.

Congress hasn't figured out how to vote for themselves in an election yet. You can vote them out, and you should.

I totally agree. I am a senior and I also think there should be an age limit. Term limits would be quite beneficial for America in many ways. Ryan backs term limits.

They refuse to foul their free lunch.

Lawmakers making laws that in any way limit their own actions -- unheard of in this fair nation.

    They absolutely should!
