Everyone seems so sad and dissapointed that the Giants are winning the series?

Is there just more Tigers fans or what?

There are way more Giants fans than Tigers fans.

It's just that Detroit fans are loud and obnoxious. If you don't believe me, go check out the Football forum and see how annoying these same people are when they boast about Megatron and the 2-4 Lions.

Personally, I'm rooting for Detroit because I'm from Michigan, so I've always been a Tigers a fan, so I'm dissapointed.

But also as a Tigers fan, and watching their up and down season, I can honestly say the Giants deserve to win as of right now. No, they are not playing that spectacular and they have gotten some lucky breaks, but the Tigers are playing pretty bad.

I know what you mean because I'm not a Tigers fan, I'm actually a Yankees fan believer it or not, and I'm dissapointed that they are losing. The Giants just won the World Series a couple of years ago while the Tigers haven't won it since 1984. Also the Tigers blew it in 2006 when they lost to the Cardinals, they were better than the Cardinals. And I think people just thought that this was finally the Tigers year. Like I said they blew it in 2006, they lost in the ALCS last year, and now they are in the World Series again this year. I think people just want to see them finally break through and win one. And I definitely thought they were the better team going into the World Series. But it's still far from over. Also, it just seemed like maybe it was their year because of Miguel Cabrera winning the triple crown and finally his first MVP (presumably).

I really do not understand where you got this fact "everyone seems so sad....." from, but maybe it is because the Giants just won the World Series a couple seasons ago and well the Tigers have not won the WS since 1984 or 28 years ago. Also with mention The NFL Lions and their abysmal record not to mention the Madden curse (Megatron is on the cover of Madden 12') and the NHL Red Wings lock out maybe this is all the city of Detroit has to root about right now and the fans in San Fran have the NFL 49'ers who are looking pretty nice again this season to root for?

The Tigers were heavily hyped from the time they signed Prince Fielder during the off-season... Although they had to fight their way just to win their Division, a lot of fans were enthralled by their ability to mash and by Miggy's epic run to the Triple Crown.

But even as a Dodger fan I have a lot of respect for the Giants and I normally pull for the National League regardless of who is representing. The Giants are simply playing better baseball right now because they have a team built around pitching, defense and getting on base.

I actually see a lot of baseball fans quite happy that the Giants are winning this way.

Not if you live in the Bay!

    Two more.

The Tigers and their high priced acquisitions are having a hard time with the playoff experience of the Giants' pitching staff.

The reason is that Detroit is the better team. The Giants have been getting every lucky break

there is to get. What about, in Game 1, when Angel Pagan hit a ground ball to third and it

hit the base. That opened the door for Pablo Sandaval to homer!

The reason you think this is because ESPN and most of the sports world has an East Coast bias.

    I'm glad, I don't like the Tigers.
