No I am on the West Coast.

but I have been praying for those on the East Coast.

It is very heartrending for these people to have this happen so close to holidays.

we need to always be aware of what others are going through and want to help them in any way we can.

Only a few days of stress and nervousness.. we live on the other side of the country.

The stress came from the fact that our youngest daughter is a Midshipman (student) at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Thankfully, it's a NAVY base and they were prepared... we got an email from her that all was safe... only cancelled classes on Monday, no lost power, and no damage <whew with relief>

Waiting to hear from various old friends in Washington DC and the Norfolk area of Virginia.

I have a good friend that is a retired NYPD officer. He doesn't live there anymore but most of his family is there. Both of his kids, son and daughter, is stationed on the East coast with the military. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.
