Neither. Calories come in four forms: Carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and alcohol.
Coke is all carbs (sugar in this case). Beer is all alcohol.
However, carbs have 4 calories per gram, while alcohol had 7. Alcohol would thus be more calorie dense, but don't be fooled by the over-simplistic thinking that plagued the low-fat craze into thinking that carbs weren't as bad as fat. Understanding of digestion and blood sugar regulation later showed that the fat was probably better all along, though some still haven't gotten the message. I don't know how alcohol in particular compares, though, for blood sugar regulation and fat storage.
