I lost my turkey recipe. It involved a quick roast method?
without brining, using HOT stuffing, rubbing bird with olive oil, searing in very hot oven to brown for 30 minutes then finishing in about 2 hours, foolproof and very moist bird. It was published in a cooking magazine in the mid 1980s, either the old Cook's magazine (now defunct) or Food & Wine as I recall. Any help is much appreciated.

but since most good recipes get posted here why not try to find it or something a bit different for a change!! 30 years of doing it the same way??????? BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
