Don't you think it's about time we had a black prime minister?

No. I don't think it is "time".
I'd hate to think a party would select a PM on that basis.
Look what happened when the Labor Party decided it was time we had a female PM.
Lesson learnt - surely!

If he or she comes across as good as Obama why not?
Hopefully we can get someone irrespective of colour to lead our great nation without shadows hanging over their head.
Someone who has the respect of the nation, I believe Malcolm Turnbull would have the respect of Australians.

I believe Turnbull would easily beat Rudd too if Gillard was forcibly removed screaming by her party, irrespective of what the experts say!

Do you seriously think a blind person cares whether the pm is black ,brown, red, yellow or white? No, they are only concerned whether their policies enacted are helpful - or not to them = )

Aussie beat me to it. Colour is not an issue in politics, it is policies that count.
