Can you really be so stressed and worried about something it makes you sick?

Last night i was hanging out with someone, and i texted them later and now they won't text me back. I am worried that they are mad at me.

I actually physically feel sick now. I feel like i am going to throw up and my stomach is tight. I have never felt this before.

Is it actually possible that i worried myself so much that i got myself sick?

Good grief! It's just a delayed text message. Stress can affect the stomach, sleep patterns, eating patterns & so on. I get a nervous stomach where I puke all day. Sleep helps me. Exercise helps others.

Yes, stress-hormones limit the efficiency of your Cardiovascular system(your blood feeds, and cleans your organs, once that stalls, your body doesn't clean itself properly anymore), so you will get sick if you stress long enough.

Take a walk, or exercise, physical activity reduces your hormone-levels back to an acceptable level, and will get rid of the stress.
