Artists, help! What types of paint?
My son has been asked to paint a sign for a store front on an acrylic sheet, which will be attached to the door. The owner wants a tie-dye type background (almost a stained glass effect) with a glittery gold sun on top. The design is complete, but he doesn't know what type of paint would achieve the stained glass effect on the acrylic sheet. His samples have turned ot opaque. Any ideas?

enamels, stained glass or regular glass paint to decorate windows and other glass or acrylic surfaces. These types of paint adhere better to slick surfaces and offer a translucent, transparent or opaque finish for windows, doors and decorative items. You can create the look of a stained glass window with applied leading, or simply add color to a plain vase for a quick and easy craft project.
