I will have exactly 4:55 hours in Paris. I would like to go see the Eiffel Tower from CDG airport?

My flight will stop in Paris for 4:55 hours. I would love to go see the Eiffel Tower. Is this enough time to go from CDG to the Eiffel Tower and back on time to catch my flight? How much will it cost me in US dollars by taxi or train? Thanks :-)

You might be able to see it but not to get inside or to the top. The cue would be enormous. You need over an hour to get to Paris center in public transportation and another hour to get back unless you hire a taxi which is like 89 euros each way... You may lose your connecting flight, and unfortunately, at Roissy village (CDG airport) there is nothing interesting to see. The train is very slow and would cost you close to 9 euros each way... The best options are the Autocars Airfrance and the direct bus to Opera for about the same price. But NO you do not have enough time and you will lose your flight!

You are on a connecting flight, thus you can't even leave the restricted zone. Forget the Tower this time, sorry.

No, don't do it. You won't have enough time, what with the security checks and everything, and CDG is a fair distance out from the city, and Paris has a lot of traffic. Not a good idea.

Not worth it. It's about a 45 minute cab or train ride each way in very light traffic. You need about an hour to clear customs to leave the airport and you need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.

That leaves you with about 25 minutes to see the tower, but not go up.. The ticket line is about an hour wait at peak times, then another hour for the elevator.

it will be a great way to spend

a few hundred $$ to get a new

ticket for the flight u missed.

not counting the few hundred to

get in and out of the city.

google the info to see how it will not work.
