    you can make proportion but first 4 eight hour days are 4*8=32 hours

    now, 5:7.2=32:x

    x=(7.2*32)/5

    x=46.08 hours

    which is 46.08/8= 5 eight hour days and 6 hours on 6th day

    Hope this can help :)

    I would divide 32 hours by 5 dollars to find how many hours a dollar of petroleum would provide power for.

    32 ÷ 5 = 6.4, so 1 dollar's worth gives 6.4 hours of energy.

    Now multiply 6.4(Dollar's worth) by 7. 2(Dollars)

    6.4 x 7.2 =

    46.08 hours for $7.20 of petroleum.

    OR

    Almost 6 8-hour days with $7.20 of petroleum.

    A little less than six, eight hour days.

    It's $1.25 per day.
