Foster families get paid?

to take care of the child. But when they adopt the child the money keeps flowing and they get to deduct the child in taxes - OHIO?

    Not sure about on the state level, as I'm from Delaware. Here the money stops when the adoption is finalized unless the child has special mental or physical needs. As far as taxes go, it's a one time thing, and as of right now, it's a tax CREDIT, not a refund. Meaning it can deduct from the amount you owe in taxes, but you won't get any actual money out of it....
