I am waiting on my SSDI appeal hearing and I need money to live?
Can I sell personal effects without getting disqualified for SSDI benefits? I have a collection of military collectibles from my time in service and a collection put together since I was fifteen I would like to part with on ebay to help pay the bills. Will selling the items and claiming them on my taxes cause me to loose any chance at SSDI when I go to my hearing? It's been a year and a half since I got my first denial.
This is Disability income, I don't beleive there is an asset limitation.

You can sell whatever you need to, there's no asset limit on social security disability (SSDI) only on SSI which is welfare, not social security.
It's a shame that so many have to sell off their valuables to live during the wait.

You cannot have more then 2k in assets so yes if your ebay sales bring in more then that you will be denied.
