This happens to lots of people - some of them more than once. It may or may not be your fault - but these things happen. Can you make a few cards, perhaps? Or something else - perhaps in the food line? What are you good at? Music? Have you any friends you can swap skills with? There's lots of cheap stuff on ebay; why not pop to a local auction and see what you can pick up very cheaply? And there may well be things going cheaply at the shops on the day or two before Christmas.
Try not to take it all over seriously. I expect your family will be understanding. You could put a promise note into cards - kind of an iou . You'll probably have better Christmases, but I expect you'll enjoy this one if you give a lot of yourself to make up for prezzies!

Its not about the money in spite of the retailers efforts
Christmas comes from the heart
I once had a moment like you so I went to the liabry with a list of. Birthdates for each member of my family and got a microfilm copy of the new york times for the day they were born wrapped a ribbon and name tag on each on .... cost me about 35 cents each ...... they loved it ......
Adapt and overcome

So THAT's why you have so much anger and hate and racism. You're an unemployed loser who blames his problems on black people.
